Paige who's head I cut off in this picture hosted play group last week, she was so nice and planned a little party for Myla. Myla enjoyed celebrating with her play group friends.

I took the girls to the library for Kindermusik the other day. The offer free classes every once in a while, the girls really enjoy singing the songs and playing with all the instruments.

The other day when I was making dinner I got out a big bowl of water and told the girls have fun and keep the water on the bath towel. They played contently for and hour until dinner was ready, that was so nice for me and for them!

Gracelyn and I went to the Dentist to get out teeth cleaned or as Gracie would say ," we went and got our teeth shiny " the other day. This is the fourth time that she has gotten her teeth cleaned but the first time that she did everything from start to finish, she did a great job!

The girls really like doing a lot of " pretend " play lately, such as Doctor, House and Babies, Dentist, Noah's ark, Puppet show and the latest Ballerinas. I love listening and watching them play and make it up as they go.

Our play group went bowling last week, the girls had a blast! We will be going back again, but this time we will bring Daddy!

Last Saturday we had a big day planned outside so I got up early to make the girls a special big breakfast. One of our books that we read for the week was Noah's ark, so we had been discussing rainbows and Gods promise to us. The girls were very excited to see pancakes colored as the rainbow, they had a lot of fun eating them too!

Last weekend we finally had some nice weather, when we heard it was going to be nice we knew it exactly what the first thing on our list was to do. Gracelyn and Myla got a new two seater swing for their swing set for Christmas from Lance's parents, they have been very excited to try it out since Christmas! It has been in the garage so daily they have asked when Daddy was going to set it up for them. Needless to say they were very excited when Daddy said that the day had finally came to work on putting it together!

Poor Miss Myla didn't want to eat her dinner tonight. Gracie and Myla both wanted to have a Popsicle after dinner, I told them if they made a good attempt at dinner then they could have one. Myla decided that was going to be to hard, so she missed out on having a Popsicle tonight. Poor girl.

We have had a couple of very nice weather days, that teased us that spring was coming early! Well today when we got out of church it was snowing and snowing hard. We have about 6 inches of snow and it is now sleeting. Not fun! Here is a picture of the girls out in the snow today, we built a snowman ( hopefully the last one for the year ), helped Daddy with the driveway, and collected snow for our snow ice cream.

We celebrated Valentines day on Monday, the girls dressed up for the occasion! We had a fun night at home with the girls, playing with their new play silks that we got them. Pictures coming soon. They really used their imaginations while playing with the play silks.

We got the girls new beds. They are twin bunk beds that we will eventually use as bunks but for now while Myla is still fearless we will keep them separated.

Christmas was very fun this year with the girls. Gracelyn is really starting to understood what Christmas really means. It was fun to be able to celebrate our saviors Birthday with the girls and also to see the magic and excitement of Christmas with the anticipation of Santa coming. I hope that we can celebrate like this the next few years. Myla was very intersted in opening her gifts for about the first two or three and then after that she just wanted to play with all her new toys.

After Lance's parents house we went to my parents house to have Christmas with my Brother & Sister n law. We got there at 8:30pm and the kids were still going strong. They got to open gifts from Scott & Allisa and Shalynne & the kids. We really missed having Shalynne & the kids there with us, maybe next year.

Christmas Eve was spent at Lance's parents house in the afternoon. We spend time together with all the family, the kids open their presents, and then we have our traditional Steak and Lobster dinner. Lance's Mom always makes sure we all have a great time together. They loved playing in the big box.

The girls and I decorated Christmas cookies the other day! We had lots of fun decorating the cookies and making BIG messes! I thought for sure Myla would have been up all night wound up or sick, due to all of the icing and sprinkles she slipped into her mouth!

Gracelyn, Myla and I had lots of fun making and decorating some Christmas cookies. I tried not to stress over the mess so we could just enjoy decorating the cookies. I think they went through 4 bottles of sprinkles! We didn't pass out the cookies saturated in sprinkles. I know they had lots of fun so that is all that matters.

Today we celebrated Myla's 1st Birthday! Our theme was "Ladybugs". Myla had lots of fun with all of the attention she got.

Happy Birthday Myla!

Today at 7:42 pm you will be one year old. This time last year Daddy and I had to get up very early to head to the hospital to have you. I was so excited to finally meet you and hold you in my arms. My pregnancy with you was scary at times, at one point during the pregnancy the Doctors told us that you may not survive long after birth. Your Dad and I knew that God was in control of your life, we prayed very hard that God would heal you and God answered our prayers! The day I finally saw your sweet face and knew you were ok, was such a wonderful day. What a great birthday present for me to have such a beautiful baby girl. You are absolutely perfect and a wonderful blessing.

This year has been amazing. You bring so much joy to our lives. We love your big smile, your very contagious laugh, your very strong will, your big blue eyes, your kisses and your sweet personality. You love your sister and look up to her, you are always wanting to do everything that she is doing. I love watching you and Gracelyns relationship grow. I can't wait to celebrate many more milestones and birthdays with you!

Mommy and Daddy love you so much Myla Mae, I remember while I was pregnant with you worrying how I could love another child as much as I loved your sister Gracelyn, but once I held you in my arms for the first time I instantly fell in love. You will never understand how much Mommy and Daddy love you and your sister. I thank Jesus everyday for choosing me to be your Mommy!

My sister made the girls these adorable outfits! She is always making them such cute little outfits. Yesterday we had Lances Grandmas 90th Birthday party they looked very cute at the party. I unfortunately didn't get many good pictures at the party, Myla was not the best little girl at the party. She was very NEEDY! This was her first time ever being that way in public so I guess I can't complain to much.

Lance and I took Gracelyn to see Nemo on Ice. Nemo has been her favorite movie for quite sometime. She loved it, Lance and I really enjoyed it as well!

Myla is 11 mths old!

Myla turned 11 mths on March 13th. I'm a little late posting the picture. Myla is such a sweetie and still very curious! She has always been so easy going adapting to any situation, but she can still figure out how to get into everything! You can not turn your back for a second with her. We love her to pieces and wouldn't want her any other way! Gracelyn and Myla have really started playing together a lot. They chase each other around the house, read books together, laugh at each other ( very cute ), and play with all the toys together ( and fight over all of the same toys!)

Myla is now walking all of the time. No more crawling.

We took her pacifier away this month, she did great without it. Only a couple of bad car rides!

She still loves her Blankie to sleep and cuddle with.

She is saying sissy, daddy, mommy and hi. Her favorite is sissy. She has still only said daddy and mommy a few times.

She blows kisses and waves hi and bye and claps her hands. She signs more and milk.

She loves to point. She is always pointing her index finger it is very cute.

She is drinking 6oz of Vitamin D milk and 2 oz Formula at each feeding. She has a morning and evening bottle and then during the day she gets milk in a sippy cup.

Her favorite food is Grilled Cheese, Carrots, Green Beans, Pears, Applesauce and Ritz Crackers.

She still only has 7 teeth.

She is such a fun little girl. She loves to climb on anything, listen to music and dance, loves her baths, to pretend to talk on her phone. Myla is always full of energy and knows exactly what she wants. I can't believe she is going to be a year old in a couple of weeks, I have no idea where this last year went.

Lance and I took the girls to the Grand Rapids Children's Museum for the first time on Saturday. Gracelyn had such a great time. There was so many fun things for her to do.

Myla is 10 months old today!

New things she is doing this month:
-She started taking quite a few steps on her own.
-She FINALLY figured out how to use a sippy cup.
-Claps all the time. Loves to play patty cake and clap and roll her arms round and round.
-Started signing "milk" pretty good. She is doing " more " pretty good now to.
-Cut another top lateral tooth, that makes 6 teeth total.
-Loves to pull Gracelyn's hair, Gracelyn's response to her " No myla mae that's my hair!!!!".
-Things she still loves to do: climb the stairs whenever she gets a chance, throws her pacifier out of bed every morning, loves to jump in her jumperoo, loves her blankie and pacifier at bedtime, still sleeps between 12-13 hrs and loves to give BIG wet kisses!!

Myla is a very curious little girl and always keeps us on our toes!!

Myla was 9 mths old on the 13th. She has been doing so many new things lately.

She weighs 17 lbs 15 oz and is 28 inches.

She signs " more ". So far this is the only one that she will sign.

She waves " bye bye "or " hi ".

She has said " Dada " and " Mama " not all the time yet.

She is a great eater, trying lot's of new food. Her favorites are Bananas, Mashed potatoes and Cheerios!

She sleeps on average of 12hrs at night and takes 2 naps during the day.

She loves to listen to music she claps her hands and bounces up and down.

She is standing all by herself she hasn't taken a step on her own, just cruises along the furniture and her walker.

Loves story time every week.

She has a great arm on her, every morning and after nap time when I get her out of bed she has thrown her pacifier in the middle of her room. Not sure why she does this, maybe I can try getting rid of it!!

Myla loves to play what ever Gracelyn is playing with. Everyday we get to have lessons in SHARING with Gracelyn! Gracelyn is usually pretty good playing with Myla, but she does have her moments.

Myla is such a fun baby, she is always happy as long Mom or Dad is close by!

Gracelyn came downstairs the other day with ribbons in her hands, she wanted them wrapped around her waist and head. She is so silly I don't know where she comes up with some of her ideas.

Myla has found a new love of Cheerios, I think she would eat the whole box if I let her!

Snow Day

Yesterday we were snowed in, so all are plans were canceled. Gracelyn and I decided to try and play Candy Land that she got for Christmas. She had a lot of fun playing she didn't quite get the whole concept of the game, but she did good finding the colors to land on and counting.

I think she was having fun!!

Myla enjoying some prunes! Myla has had some issues in the bathroom department since she was newborn, so she has to have prunes every other day. She really likes them, I hate the BIG mess that they make!!

The other day I had my hair in a ponytail with a headband, Gracelyn came up to me and said she wanted her hair like mommy's! I thought that was so cute. The last time I tried a ponytail it didn't work, she didn't have enough hair, but this time it worked and I thought she looked so cute. I am not sure if I will put it back up anytime soon though, she looked so grown up it made me kind of sad.

We wanted to get a cute picture of all three of them with their aprons on, as you can see Gracelyn was having a rough time! This was right before nap time so posing for a picture was not something she wanted to do!! At least we got a picture of all three of them with the aprons on, even if there is a unhappy 2 year old in the picture!

Christmas Day!

Christmas Day was spent with my family, we had a great time. This was the first year in many years that all of us were together on Christmas Day so it was nice. Gracleyn and Myla was again spoiled with many gifts. My brother Scott made the girls a nice toy box and my sister got Gracie a 4 wheeler and my parents got them some nice toys as well. My parents got Gracelyn a pack of legos and she is loving playing with them. My dad made Gracelyn a nice step stool so now she can go potty all by herself, she really thinks she is a big girl now! Unfortunately Gracelyn will not ride on the 4 wheeler she is scared of the noise that it makes. I am not sure when or why she become scared of loud noises but she is. I'm sure by the summer she will enjoy riding the 4 wheeler outside! ( I hope )

We always spend Christmas Eve with Lance's family. We decorate gingerbread cookies, eat steak and lobster, open gifts and play card games. We always have a great time. Gracelyn really enjoyed opening gifts this year and Myla enjoyed her first Christmas eating all of the wrapping paper. Lance parents got the girl's a gigantic doll house that Gracelyn LOVES, I'm sure Myla will enjoy it when she is Gracie's age. Lance's dad made the " Cranney kid's " gracelyn, myla and any future children we have, a red barn. Lance had one exactly like it growing up, Gracelyn likes farm animals so she will enjoy playing with the barn. The girl's Aunt Trina and Uncle Scott got them the cutest embroidered bags with their names on it, I didn't take a picture I will have to post them later. I love anything embroidered! We had a great time with his family, it is always fun to all get together at the holidays!

This year I had Gracelyn make her Christmas gifts to give to family. We made a few different ornaments and cookies to give out. Gracelyn really enjoys helping me in the kitchen and I enjoy having her in there with me. I let her mix up all the ingredients for the cookies, when it came to putting the cookies on wax paper to harden she just wanted to lick the spoon. She was VERY hyper after making the cookies, she had never had so much chocolate before! We had lots of fun and made some great memories.

We took the girls this year to 5/3rd Ball Park for their Christmas lights. They have the whole ball park lit up and you drive through to look at them. Gracelyn really liked to see all of the lights, she was in complete awe. I hope that we can make this a tradition going out and looking at all the pretty lights.

8mths old already!!

Myla was 8mths old on the 13th. She is getting so big and doing something new everyday!

What she is up to these days. She is crawling everywhere and getting into everything!! She is pulling herself up to all the furniture and starting to walk behind her push walker. I'm not sure if I am ready for her to start walking yet. She has two bottom front teeth now and still chewing on everything. She loves most all food and especially Gerber puffs. She is still trying to figure out her sippy cup she is still not sure about it. She very much enjoys her pacifier and blankie not sure when we will start trying to take her pacifier away. We took Gracelyn's away at 8mths. Myla enjoys playing patty cake, singing and loves her bath time. She is sleeping around 12 hrs a night, which Mommy and Daddy love!! Myla is such a great baby a true blessing to our family. We love her so much she has added so much to our family. Gracelyn and Myla get along great, it is so fun to watch them play together.

Myla Mae has gotten so big I can't believe how big she is, she is now 7mths and into everything! She is sitting up great, army crawling everywhere and partially crawling on all fours. She loves to eat, play with her toys, TRY to play with anything that Gracelyn is playing with. Myla is such a happy baby she always has a smile on her face to share with anyone.

Gracelyn enjoys playing with Myla now that she can be on the floor and really play with her. Gracelyn has to make sure to teach Myla which toys are hers!! We feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family!

Fourth of July!

We had a fun 4th of July! We took the kids to their first Parade, Myla slept through most of it, Gracelyn enjoyed it besides the sirens. Then we had a picnic in the park, Gracelyn really enjoyed eating her lunch in the park. We then did the traditionally Fireworks that night. While we were waiting for the Fireworks to begin there were lots of them being let off in the distance and Gracelyn liked them she kept saying " ooh pretty " It was cute. When the real ones started she did not think they were pretty any longer when they first started she kept saying " no no " and then she jumped over onto Lance's lap and was saying " Bye Bye " I kept telling her it was ok and that they were pretty she would not listen. By mid way through them she turned her head in the oppsite direction and stopped watching, maybe next year she will like them better.

I have been really bad at updating my Blog lately. I have posted lots of Pictures to my Facebook, but I need to give my Blog some attention as well.

Life with two children is great. It was very overwhelming in the beginning but now, I have some sort of a schedule down and it is helping a lot. Gracelyn and Myla are doing great I love to watch them interact with each other. Whenever Myla catches a glimpse of Gracelyn she smiles a huge smile it is so cute! Of course Gracelyn eats that up and gives her a lot of attention so Myla will smile and coo at her.

I thought I was busy with just Gracelyn but I had no idea what busy was until Myla came along. She is a very good baby, I can't imagine if I had a collicky one. I am sure somehow we would manage. Myla has pretty much slept through the night since she came home which is wonderful!!! Gracelyn is working on being a Big Girl and going potty on the Big Girl potty. She is basically potty trained the only time I put a diaper on her is at bedtime and for Church. Yesterday at Church she told the Nursery worker she had to go so I guess I can now send her with underwear, I was just concerned she may be afraid to tell them she had to go but I guess not. I bought her a Travel Potty from One Step Ahead which is wonderful when we are out and about.

We still have not sold our house, we show it a lot but no offers yet. Hopefully soon! Lance is getting sick of the 3 hr Round trip drive everyday and we miss seeing him. We can't wait until we can move closer to work and get back into some sort of normal routine again.

I have been taking Gracelyn swimming once a week , we both have been enjoying it. I took a few pictures last time, I don't have any of her actually in the pool because I was holding her.

Gracelyn is Miss Independent these days, wanting to feed everything to herself. I do like that she feeds herself, but sometimes in situations of Ravioli it would be much easier if I fed her. It took me quite sometime to get her and the High Chair cleaned up!!

Gracelyn and I have been going to Story Hour at the Library once a week and to the Swimming Pool once a week, this winter has been long so we needed to find some things to get out of the house. Gracelyn is really enjoying both of them.

It has been a very long winter staying indoors. I haven't updated my Blog lately because we haven't did much of anything exciting. We did take Gracelyn to a Winter Festival in out town, there was not much for young kids. We got her a Balloon Flower, we had to wait in line for a 1/2 hr for it, but I think she liked it so it was worth it!!

She was getting sick of standing in line so I entertained her for a bit with my sunglasses. She loves to wear sunglasses so I new this would pass the time.Her Balloon Flower, she looks pretty happy with it.

Brooklin and Jeffrey came to Michigan for Christmas and surprised us all. It was a great surprise and the best gift we could have gotten. Gracelyn enjoyed the kids so much, it was sad to see them go.

We had a great Christmas this year with Gracelyn and our Families. Gracelyn really had a good time opening all of her gifts and playing with all of her toys. Of course everyone spoiled her, and she got way more than she needed. I don't think she is complaining.

Gracelyn for some reason was not happy with the Snowmen under the tree. She was yelling and pointing her fingure at them, it was very funny. She got used to them after the first day, she sure did not like them at first.

Gracelyn has always loved to be read to, now she likes to also read the books herself. She takes each book and flip through each page it is really cute. We now have been trying to teach her how to take one book out at a time. She hasn't really got the hang of that.

Gracelyn got this play set given to her by a friend. She loves playing on it, it has a small slide and swing on it. It will be nice this winter when we can't go outside on her swing set and play.

We spent the day today raking the leaves. Gracelyn and Axle loved playing in them. Here is our attempt at a family photo it took us about 10 tries to have Gracie and Axle to be both looking at the camera. As you can see it looks like Lance is choking the dog!

Gracelyn has been very busy now that she is crawling everywhere!! She loves to pull herself up to things, climb up on stuff and play in cupboards! We thought that we had our house pretty much child proofed but Gracelyn shows us something new we need to work on everyday!!

Lance and I were busy packing the car for our camping trip over Memorial weekend I left Gracelyn to play with a few of her toys. She ended up dumping the Rice Crispy Cereal all over the floor ( I guess she got kind of hungry while playing ).

Mom, Shalynne and the kids and I walked in the Scleroderma walk/run at the Detroit Zoo this year. My Aunt Jan passed away this past April from Scleroderma, after fighting a long battle with the disease. There was over 1,800 people that participated in the race to help raise money. The kids had a great time at the zoo!

5 Mth Pictures of Gracelyn!

Gracelyn turned 5 months on Feb 14th. She is getting to be so big and doing so many new things. Everyday is so much fun with her around. She started eating solids this month, laughing and smiling a lot, teething and chewing on everything, rolling over and starting sit up on her own, playing with her toys on her own, and much more.

I think she was getting bored with all the pictures she decided to rip the bow out of her hair and try to eat it then she moved on to her 5 mth sign!!

Another sleeping picture , I thought she looked so cute with those hands crossed again.

She finally fits into her slippers that match her robe, I thought they looked adorable on her.

Bathtime! Gracelyn loves to take a bath, she kicks and splashes water everywhere.

" Hi mom what are you doing up there " She started sucking her bottam lip a lot when she started teething, I am really surprised she doesn't have a rash from sucking on it so much.

My sister gave me our family shower. It turned out wonderful, it was outside at Flushing Park. We got a lot of great gifts for the baby, we can't wait until she is here so we can try it all out!!

Jaime had Kenny yesterday at 12:15pm he was 9lbs 4 oz and 20 1/2 inches. Her labor was pretty good she said, she was scheduled to be induced Saturday morning at 6:00 am she was a week overdue she ended up going in labor at 12:00 midnight on Friday night. They had to use forceps to get him out at the end because he was so big, but other then that she said she was feeling pretty good and baby was doing great!

Lance really wants to skydive some day so we went and watch a group of skydivers try to break some sort of record there were 160 skydivers that jumped at one time it was pretty neat to see.
