Poor baby girl!

Poor Miss Myla didn't want to eat her dinner tonight. Gracie and Myla both wanted to have a Popsicle after dinner, I told them if they made a good attempt at dinner then they could have one. Myla decided that was going to be to hard, so she missed out on having a Popsicle tonight. Poor girl.

SNOW!

Gracie and Myla out playing in the snow today. Can you tell how Myla feels about the snow we got today?!?! Mommy feels the same way she does!

We have had a couple of very nice weather days, that teased us that spring was coming early! Well today when we got out of church it was snowing and snowing hard. We have about 6 inches of snow and it is now sleeting. Not fun! Here is a picture of the girls out in the snow today, we built a snowman ( hopefully the last one for the year ), helped Daddy with the driveway, and collected snow for our snow ice cream.

Our week

We celebrated Valentines day on Monday, the girls dressed up for the occasion! We had a fun night at home with the girls, playing with their new play silks that we got them. Pictures coming soon. They really used their imaginations while playing with the play silks.

We got the girls new beds. They are twin bunk beds that we will eventually use as bunks but for now while Myla is still fearless we will keep them separated.

Myla looks so little in her " big girl bed".

Gracie girl enjoying her new bed.

Getting ready to make some Strawberry snow ice cream. I think it is kind of gross to make ice cream out of snow even if it is fresh, clean fallen snow. The girls had a blast making the ice cream, so I guess I achieved what I wanted out of the experience, for them to have fun!

Gracie and Myla agreed we could make this daily!!

Christmas 2010

Christmas was very fun this year with the girls. Gracelyn is really starting to understood what Christmas really means. It was fun to be able to celebrate our saviors Birthday with the girls and also to see the magic and excitement of Christmas with the anticipation of Santa coming. I hope that we can celebrate like this the next few years. Myla was very intersted in opening her gifts for about the first two or three and then after that she just wanted to play with all her new toys.

Gracelyn sleeping in on Christmas morning.
Myla cuddling with her "Jesse doll ".

Singing "Happy Birthday" to baby Jesus.

I know Myla was thinking " CAKE, CAKE, CAKE! "

Checking out their stockings. Myla thought it would be easier to just dump the whole thing out.

Jumping on their new bounce house. Thanks Gram and Papa.

The aftermath!

Gracie's new brown ball, that she wanted so bad!!

Myla loved her new tube of toothpaste!

Gracie playing with her toys one by one.

Doing a little computer work, toothpaste still in tow. Maybe she will go in the Dental field like her mommy!
We started a new tradition this year of finding the " pickle " on the tree. Whoever finds the pickle on the tree first gets to open their gift first. Gracie found it first, I didn't get a picture of the big pickle winner!!

Christmas Eve at Gram & Papa's.

After Lance's parents house we went to my parents house to have Christmas with my Brother & Sister n law. We got there at 8:30pm and the kids were still going strong. They got to open gifts from Scott & Allisa and Shalynne & the kids. We really missed having Shalynne & the kids there with us, maybe next year.

Christmas Eve at Ganda & Papa Du's.

Christmas Eve was spent at Lance's parents house in the afternoon. We spend time together with all the family, the kids open their presents, and then we have our traditional Steak and Lobster dinner. Lance's Mom always makes sure we all have a great time together. They loved playing in the big box.
All 5 of them coloring. I had to take a picture, who would have thought a simple coloring picture would entertain from ages 20mths to 17yrs !

Justen was a big helper, helping Gracie and Myla open their big present.

Gracelyn getting her Woody doll.

Gracelyn was in a Christmas program at church. She was so excited to get up in sing. We practiced daily so she could learn all 4 of her songs! Gram & Papa and Ganda & Papa Du came down to see her sing.
